TRANSPORT
Management centre video wall for real-time operational visibility across the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines.
“With Harp's success of a previous installation, the control room with the video wall was planned in at an early stage of the conception of Tubelines. Harp's known ability to integrate different feeds from sources was a high factor in choosing Harp again. Again they delivered a system on time and installed to a highly professional standard. As more centres are developed Harp will be considered first.”
— Ian Machen, Control Centre Manager, Tubelines
Project overview
Tubelines worked in partnership with London Underground to modernise the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines under the public-private partnership model. The organisation required a management centre capable of providing real-time operational visibility across its network.
The centre was designed as the focal point for operational issues, incident management and planning handovers. Harp Visual was selected for its control room record in rail environments and brought into the design process early.
